Before this road trip, I never imagined that North New Mexico would have great gorgeous green Rocky Moutains! A great surprise on the 800 mile stretch to El Paso.

ROSEVELT, TEXAS


After bearing the long straight desert highway of West Texas, I realized how vital it was to FILL UP YOUR TANK because gas stations are sparse. I pulled off I-10 with 1 gallon of gas left and unexpectidly found a quite town called Roosevelt,
population: 18.

This store is owned by the mayor of Roosevlt, TX. The only gas station within 30 miles or so from this spot.
